The Southeast Local School District’s board of education has approved a contract for roof repairs at John R. Lea Middle School. The $94,000 contract was awarded to a roofing company based out of Richland County. Superintendent Jon Ritchie says the hope is to have the repairs completed this summer while school is out, however shipping and material delays could potentially hinder the project’s timeline.
