A crash involving a train and a tractor sent a Dalton man to an area hospital on Tuesday in Sugar Creek Township.
The Ohio Highway Patrol says that the crash occurred at around 3 p.m. when a New Holland tractor was hauling grain eastbound on Hackett Road at the railroad crossing, while the train was travelling south eastbound on the tracks and struck the tractor at the crossing.
The 19-year old Dalton man was transported to a local hospital by the East Wayne Fire District.
The crash still remains under investigation.
