The city of Wooster will spend $2 million to purchase roughly 140 acres of land, which eventually will be used build a new industrial park.  The land is located between Melrose Drive and Geyers Chapel Road, just north of the Daisy Brand plant.  Wooster officials say the land already has access to city water and sewer services, but is not actually located within city limits, meaning the next step needed to move forward with the land’s development will be to annex it.
