A man from Lima is facing criminal charges in Wayne County for allegedly breaking into several homes near West Salem.  37-year old Michael Hooser was taken into custody Saturday morning after a homeowner saw him going into his garage.  The homeowner pulled a pistol on Hooser and held him at gunpoint until authorities could arrive.  Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office say they found items from four nearby homes on Hooser when they arrested him, along with a handgun and suspected meth and marijuana.  Hooser, who is charged with a second-degree felony count of burglary, remains jailed on $15,000 bond.  A preliminary court hearing is scheduled for Friday.
