A Lakeside man was charged over the weekend in Ashland County with his fifth OVI. According to the Ashland Highway Patrol 57 year-old William Stakes was charged after he failed to navigate a curve on State Route 60 around 8 p.m. Saturday, causing him to leave the roadway and crash into two traffic signs and a utility pole. Stakes was not hurt in the accident.
