The City of Wooster and the city’s firefighter’s union have reached an agreement on a new three-year contract.  The deal comes after nearly eight months of back-and-forth negotiations.  As part of the new contract, firefighters will get a pay raise, two stipends and additional time off.  The bump in pay is 7% for the first year of the deal, followed by 2.5% raises in each of the next two years.
