Council approves land purchase for park

At their meeting last night, Wooster council members agreed to purchase nearly 12 acres of land off of Venture Boulevard.  The land will become the city’s newest park, which will reportedly feature a walking trail and a boardwalk among its amenities.  If everything thing goes according to plan, Clear Creek Park could be open by this time next year.
