The organizers of the Rich Dalessandro 5k will receive a prestigious award for their work. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will present the Lifeblood Award to the organizers of the 5k that is set to take place November 2nd in Dalton. The award will be given to the Dalessandro family on November 21st during an award ceremony. The Lifeblood Award is given to volunteers who are the lifeblood of the society that help at events, fundraise and care for those in treatment.
