Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr stated in a press conference that All-Star and NBA Champion forward Draymond Green will not face suspension and is expected to rejoin the team on Thursday.
Green got into an altercation with guard Jordan Poole during a team practice last week, which resulted in Green punching Poole. Green later apologized to Poole for throwing the punch and stated days later that he was taking some time away from the organization.
While Green will reportedly not be suspended ahead of the team’s season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, Kerr stated that Green received an undisclosed fine.
