10 members of the East Holmes Schools administrative team are in quarantine after they were exposed to a case of coronavirus earlier this month.
The school district posted on the Hiland High Facebook page that the Holmes County Health Department notified the team members that they were exposed to a case of COVID-19 “on March 5 and have been placed in quarantine by the health department through March 20.”
As of Saturday, no one on the administrative team was showing any symptoms of coronavirus — cough, fever and shortness of breath. Those who have been exposed already have been contacted.
The district says that over the next few weeks, East Holmes staff will be working to deep clean and sanitize all of its buildings.
