The Wayne County Planning Department has officially released a draft of the Comprehensive Plan for the county. The draft, which can be viewed on the website Wayne Onward, comes after almost a year of input from the general public. The plan outlines managing growth and development, preserving farmland, and investment in parks and green space as the top priorities. The plan will help the county prepare for change, as well as serve as a guide for decision makers and as a business plan.
