Grant money to help training facility

A grant will help the Wayne County Fire and Rescue Association Regional Training Facility continue to add to their grain Safety Training Program. The program will help train first responders to deal with an emergency dealing with a grain silo. Phase one has already been completed with the completion of a grain leg, while phase two will add a balcony and is expected to be completed later this year. The $15,000 grant was awarded to the training facility from O’Neill Insurance, an independent agency of Westfield Insurance.
