The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office is reportedly investigating a hazing incident at Mapleton High School. The incident is said to have taken place last Tuesday and involved a boy in the 9th grade who was allegedly assaulted by several upperclassmen. As of right now, no charges have been filed. The county prosecutor’s office will determine if criminal charges are warranted, once authorities wrap up their investigation.
