A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday for the new home of the Holmes Center for the Arts. The new home for the center will be in Berlin on State Route 39 just behind the Burger King. The total cost for the new facility will be $2.5 million, which has been raised through grants and donations, as well as efforts from the HCA themselves. The new space will total 14,000 square feet, which will house a 208 seat theater, studios, music rooms and a homework space.
