Indians on a 10-game losing streak to the Rays, fall 10-5

On the same day that they announced a name change of “Guardians” in 2022, the Indians would allow 6 runs in the 9th and fall to the Tampa Bay Rays Friday night by a score of 10 to 5. It was the Tribe’s 10th consecutive loss to the Rays dating back to 2019. The game was tied at 4 going into the 9th, but the bullpen once again imploded. A bright spot in defeat for the Tribe was Jose Ramirez, who hit a 3-run home run and an RBI triple. Indians and Rays back at it again Saturday night (7:10 pm on 104.5 WQKT ).
