No changes expected at Rayco, despite parent company’s sale

A Texas-based manufacturer of agricultural equipment is reportedly buying the parent company of Wooster’s Rayco Manufacturing.  The price tag is said to be in the neighborhood of $350 million.  According to company officials though, the sale is not expected to have any impact on Rayco’s day-to-day operations.  Currently about 180 people are employed at Rayco’s facility on East Lincoln Way.
