A Wadsworth man was killed Thursday in an incident with police. According to authorities, 26 year-old Guy Barnard was shot and killed outside the Wadsworth Police Department shortly before 8 p.m. The incident started with Barnard calling the police and telling them he was armed and dangerous. Wadsworth Police and Medina County Sheriff’s responded to the scene, and interacted with Barnard for about 30 minutes before he pulled a gun and was shot. Barnard had a history with the Wadsworth Police, as he was convicted in 2012 for threatening to blow up Wadsworth High School.
