The Wayne County Health Department and the City of Wooster would like the public to know that the water in the city is safe and not contaminated. A post on social media claimed that the city’s water was contaminated with Hepatitis A, an infectious disease that is spread by person to person contact. Water that comes from the city’s water treatment operations is safe, as he operation is staffed around the clock and is quality tested over 20,000 times a year.
