Wooster Township Fire Chief Dallas Terrell was honored this week at an event in Columbus, where he was named Ohio’s Fire Officer of the Year. The award was presented to Terrell Wednesday afternoon at the Ohio Fire Services’ annual Hall of Fame and Fire Awards ceremony. Terrell has been with Wooster Township Fire and Rescue for more than two decades. He was appointed chief back in July of 2021.
